The AIDS-home Eden

Little Moi came to us from the hospital when her last relative died of AIDS. She was six years old, HIV-infected and nobody wanted to take care of her. Then we started the Eden home.
Today some 15 HIV-infected children live here together with a superintendent. Many have experienced the same thing as Moi; their families died of AIDS and they were then abandoned.
During the fall of 2004 the ministry moved to two newly built houses right next to the boarding home in HuaDoi. There is now room for smaller children, up to ten years of age, and a nurse is stationed at the home. Also, the older girls from the boarding home help with the chores at Eden.

The older girls at the boarding home in HuaDoi lend helping hands at Eden.

There is always room for singing
and laughing, despite the disease.

The children live together at
the home, like one big family.
