Pottery training
The pottery is in conjunction with the boarding home in HuaDoi. It offers vocational training in pottery to those youth who are interested in learning the skill. Pottery is a strong tradition in northern Thailand, and it's a big export product to the whole world. Thus, both knowledge of the handicraft and raw materials can be found close by.
Initially we hire local potters to teach, but we count on being able to run the project ourselves eventually. Our thought is for the selling of pottery to contribute financially to the other ministries.
